My wine blog will let you know a little about me and more about wine. I hope you will enjoy reading some lighthearted ramblings and appreciate some serious and not so serious wine information, most of which will be based on my personality and the way I look at things. I don’t plan to offer ratings of the wines, just tasting comments. It’s up to you, if you feel like it, to use the suggestions the next time you want to purchase your next bottle of wine.
As of January 2013, Grape Experiences has a new look! Easier to navigate, you can find under the appropriate tabs, Wine Reviews, Events and Travel information, some education (don’t worry, it’s all fun!) to help quench your thirst for knowledge at Wine School, and profiles of Wine Connoisseurs who I have interviewed. Do you want to be a part of these Grape Experiences? I’d love to have you be my next Winelover Next Door or contribute an article about wine as a guest blogger! Just press the Be Featured tab! Use the Topics drop down menu to find articles about wineries, restaurants, regional wines, and more!
If you are a distributor, winery, or another wine lover who would like to send me samples, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be happy to share my policy, address to which the samples should be sent, and any other information you may need.
By day I teach Early Childhood Special Education. I love having my glass or two of wine after work, with good friends, on the porch reading a book…you get the idea! A firm believer in life long learning, I have completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 3 class and have passed the exam allowing me to hold the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate with Merit. Having done my undergrad work at the University of Richmond then grad school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, I have a special affinity for many things southern with a bit of March Madness!
Enjoy the site, share articles on Facebook and Twitter, follow me on Twitter and “like” me on Facebook! You may want to add me to your RSS feed or even pin some pictures on Pinterest. But whatever you decide to do, just have fun with this – it’s all about wine! Don’t forget to let me know about your own “Grape Experiences” and, if you are in the Chicago area, email me at email@example.com if you would like to have a personalized wine tasting!
Cheers! ~ Cindy Rynning
