It’s almost here – 2021!! Although this year was the most unexpected I’ve experienced in a while (to say it mildly), I’ve made it work for my family and me thanks to a fair amount of pivoting, looking at things in new ways, planning exciting business and personal projects, and reconnecting with those I admire and cherish. What about you? How have you “gotten through” this year? With wine in hand, I hope!

It’s high time to look forward to 2021 and a refreshed perspective on… everything! Specifically, I’d like to share a few changes and additions I’ll be making to Grape Experiences in order to serve you and your desire to learn more about wine, discover delicious and perhaps different choices, and be inspired to travel the world for wine, even if it’s at the neighborhood wine shop. Here we go!

I’ll be including more videos to my articles when it’s appropriate to do so. For example, expect to see a few Crush On This wine videos (the YouTube series I’m doing with friends Allison Levine of Please the Palate and Christine Campbell of Girls Go Grape), videos from my own channel, and those from wineries when they seem relevant, interesting and useful to you.

No one tells the story of a wine better than those who work diligently to produce it. To that end, I’ll be adding more articles featuring Q&As with winemakers and others who will offer their unique perspective to the world of wine.

As much as I adore wine, there’s always room on Grape Experiences for a cocktail or two… especially when wine is an ingredient! Stirred or shaken? Wait for it!

You know already how much I miss wine travel and I’m hoping that by the end of 2021, we’ll have our boots on the ground in stunning regions around the world once again. With that as a goal, I’ll be writing about some favorite places to visit (hello, Portugal!) and the wines we can expect to find.

Wine lovers are part of my exciting and inspirational community. If you haven’t already “liked” my Grape Experiences page on Facebook, please click here and do just that. I’ll be having Facebook live chats AND sending you invitations to virtual tastings via Zoom beginning soon. I look forward to having you join me as we build a larger community… one sip at a time!

Likewise, if you haven’t yet subscribed to Grape Experiences, I’d love you to do so by clicking here. I have a very special project that will be launched in late spring – subscribers will be the very first to hear about it! So excited!!
