A guaranteed-to-be-epic wine festival in the western suburbs of Chicago? You bet! And I’m hoping to see you there! The Naperville Wine Festival, now in its 15th year, will take place at Naper Settlement on Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26, 2017. Featuring more than 300 wines from around the world, local cuisine, live musical entertainment, and the Bill Jacobs BMW Connoisseurs Club giving exclusive access to specialty wines and dining, your weekend will exude a fun factor like no other.
“The two-day event gives festival-goers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the wine culture with tastings, expert and sommelier-led seminars, pairing tips, and more.” Scott Janess, KemperLesnick, organizer of the Naperville Wine Festival
Let’s start planning…
The Bill Jacobs BMW Connoisseurs Club Ticket is $120 in advance and $140 at the door. This ticket is good to use any one day of the festival. It includes a souvenir wine glass, 20 tastings, seminars, musical entertainment, the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Standard Market, and access to the Bill Jacobs BMW Connoisseurs Club hospitality tent which includes unlimited sampling of specialty wines, heavy hors d’oeuvres and gourmet small plates from Sullivan’s Steakhouse.
The Adult Wine Tasting Ticket is $35 in advance and $45 at the door. It includes a souvenir wine glass, 20 wine tastings, food and wine seminars, musical entertainment and the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Standard Market.
The Good Any Day Ticket is $50 in advance and allows for flexibility to use any one day of the festival. This ticket is similar to the Adult Wine Tasting Ticket in that it, too, includes a souvenir wine glass, 20 tastings, seminars, musical entertainment, and the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Standard Market.
Finally, the Designated Driver Ticket is $15 and includes two non-alcoholic drinks, food and wine seminars, musical entertainment, and a souvenir wine glass upon departure. Under 21 festival goers are admitted free when accompanied by paid adult.
Besides wine, food, and entertainment, you’ll be grateful for the free parking that’s available on site at Naper Settlement, an outdoor history museum, located across from the City of Naperville Municipal Center. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Naperville Wine Festival will directly benefit the Naperville Area Humane Society and Alex’s Lemonade Stand through the support of Northwestern Mutual Chicagoland.
